Prof. Nausheen Rahman is an Independent Director of MJL Bangladesh PLC, joining the Board on 30th January 2023. Prof. Nausheen Rahman has vast teaching experience in the field of Finance and has been teaching at the Faculty of Business Studies, University of Dhaka for the past 27 years. She has also taught a number of reputed Private Universities as a part-time faculty. 



Prof. Rahman has completed her B.Com. and M.Com (Hons) in Finance from the Finance department of the Faculty of Business Studies, University of Dhaka and is a gold medalist having secured first position in the Faculty of Business Studies. Later in 2000 she completed her MBA degree from the University of Canberra, Australia majoring in Finance with distinctions and high distinctions. 


Prof. Rahman started her career with North South University in 1994, later she joined University of Dhaka in 1996 as a Lecturer. She held various positions in the department over the years such as MBA Director, The Placement Director etc. She was associated with Bangladesh School of Management for more than 8 years as an external resource person representing University of Dhaka and helped design the syllabus of the MBM program and also an interviewer of various reputed banks’ selection board as an expert from her relevant field. Currently she is also serving as an Independent Director of Mir Akther Hossain Limited. 


Prof. Rahman has more than 20 publications in various recognized journals and attended and presented papers in international conferences and seminars.
